Methods of Quantum Electronics

Duration: 1 semester

The course is intended for sixth-semester students specializing in laser physics, quantum electronics and nonlinear optics. The main purpose of teaching the discipline is to familiarize students with functional schemes, characteristics, areas of application, ranges and limitations of application of optical, optoelectronic, optical and mechanical devices and equipment used in laser experiments. The second part of the course is devoted to the study of solid-state methods of manufacturing nanostructures and their characterization with an emphasis on methods of preparing samples for optical experiment.
